With love on Mother's Day - from our Founder, Ajith
For me, Mother’s Day really matters. I’m sure it does for you too.
Not because it’s in the diary.
But because of everything she’s done that never was.
The lifts. The love. The late nights. The worry. The quiet support. The constant presence.
When I look back at my own life, growing up, and then building restaurants, one thing has always stayed true. The table is where appreciation is shown properly.
Food is how we say thank you.
You sit down. You slow down. You share. You give someone your full attention. That’s what counts.
If I’m honest, a lot of us (especially sons like me) aren’t always brilliant at planning ahead. Life gets busy. Dates creep up. We think we’ll sort it next week.
But this is one date worth getting right.
So this year, let me make it simple for you.
Bring her to us.
We’ll help you celebrate. We’ll do whatever you need (within reason) so she doesn’t have to think about a thing.
On the islands, the best moments aren’t rushed. Food is shared. Drinks are poured slowly. The table fills up. The laughter gets louder. And the host takes care of everything so no one else has to carry the load.
That’s what we believe in at Turtle Bay. Proper Caribbean hospitality. Warmth. Generosity. Time well spent.
This Mother’s Day, we’ll take care of Mum.
No cooking.
No clearing up.
No stress.
Just a Sharing Island Lunch from £29.90 per person - generous plates, freshly cooked to order, full of flavour and made for passing around. There’s something for every taste and every kind of human at the table, from kids to fully grown adults with very big appetites. For the little one's of the family, their meal is on us.
And Mum’s first drink? That’s on us.
Now here’s the part I love most.
If you book before 8th March, Mum could be heading to Jamaica. On us.
We’ll be sending two lucky people off to the sunshine as a thank you for planning ahead. So yes...a long, lazy island lunch could turn into real island sand between her toes.
But more than anything, this isn’t about fuss or flowers for the sake of it.
It’s about giving her a day where she doesn’t organise. Doesn’t host. Doesn’t carry the mental load.
She just sits back. Eats well. Drinks slowly. And feels properly appreciated.
Come for lunch. Stay as long as you like. No hurry.
We’ll look after the rest.
One Love,
Aj (Founder)
