Our new location awareness feature enhances your experience on the Turtle Bay website by remembering your preferred restaurant location. This feature uses either cookies or your browser's local storage to save your location preference, depending on your cookie settings. This makes it easier for you to access relevant information and make bookings.

Key Features:

1. Preferred Location Setting:
   • You can set your preferred Turtle Bay location manually or allow the website to use your current location.
   • This setting can be changed at any time using the floating element on the bottom right of the page.
2. Personalized "Book Now" Experience:
   • The "Book Now" button will default to your preferred location.
   • If you haven't set a preference, you'll be prompted to choose a location on first use.
3. Enhanced "Find Nearest" Functionality:
   • Shows your preferred location and the two closest restaurants to it.
   • Allows you to search for locations or use your current location.
4. Optimized Locations List:
   • Your preferred location appears at the top of the list.
   • Other locations are sorted by distance from your preferred location.
5. Customized Menu Landing Page:
   • The restaurant selection on the menu page will be pre-filled with your preferred location.

   • If you accept cookies: Your location preference is stored using cookies, and the location slug (unique identifier) is pushed to our data layer.
