The Vibes
From the moment you step through our doors, you’re immersed in vibrant island life. Brightly coloured interiors, twinkling lights and hand-painted murals instantly catch your eye. At the heart of it all is our Island Bar, a bustling hub where the energy of the Caribbean comes alive. The air is filled with the aroma of smoky jerk, crafted to perfection by our chefs at the jerk pit. Feel-good reggae tunes set the mood, letting you unwind and forget the everyday hustle.
The Food
At Turtle Bay, we take inspiration straight from the Caribbean, offering something for everyone, from the vegan foodies to the spice lovers. Each dish is a celebration of bold flavours and soul-warming comfort. Our Curry Chickpea & Callaloo is a hearty, warming option perfect for those chilly autumn nights. Or get stuck into our signature Jerk Chicken, which is marinated for 24 hours in a rich blend of herbs and spices. It’s slow-cooked to juicy perfection, then flame-charred on our jerk pit to infuse that signature smoky flavour, before being drenched in our famous jerk gravy. Our talented bartenders are ready to free pour and shake up any of our tropical cocktails, with over 20 cocktails to choose from. Whether it’s a classic cocktail with a Caribbean twist or something extra special like our Sundowners, our bartenders are sure to impress.
We have 25 different rums on our bar, including favourites like Wray & Nephew and Duppy Share, we can match you with your perfect pour; whether you’re a seasoned rum lover or just beginning your journey! Our bartenders will guide you through the options, recommending the ideal mixer to elevate your drink. So grab a seat, sip slowly, and let the infectious reggae beats take over.
Where You’ll Find Us
You'll find us right in the heart of Chester's town centre, just to the left of the new Chester market. If you're sightseeing or just visiting for a day of shopping, you'll definitely want to stop by for a few 2-4-1 cocktails and some chill out time.
