The Inspiration
We created these dishes because we know that sometimes, you want something a little lighter, a little healthier or something that’s guaranteed to be packed with a balance of nutrients and proteins. That could be a salad, but that’s sometimes the last thing you want to order on a crisp winters’ day!
If you’ve visited us before, you’ll know that Buddha Bowls are not a new addition to the Turtle Bay menu – but we’ve revamped them and made them better and more balanced than ever, whilst also ensuring they are the type of fresh but comforting dish you’d want to eat on a cold day.

The Flavours
A vibrant combination of fresh, wholesome ingredients.
The base of our Buddha Bowl starts with our famous coconut rice & peas – creamy, rich and full of flavour. We then add our favourite sweet Plantain (it’s a superfood don’t you know!), garlicky corn on the cob, seasonal roasted greens, smashed avocado, tomatoes, seasonal leaves and mixed beans (for that little extra protein). It’s all dressed in a light but creamy vegan dressing for extra flavour.
You choose your protein for a topping – from chicken, plant-based “chicken” or halloumi. All these ingredients make for a super filling and flavour-packed meal.

We created our winter salad Buddha Bowls for people who like to find balance, enjoy eating fresh and wholesome foods and love to try a mix of flavours. A Buddha Bowl is a great option for lunch and pairs perfectly with a tropical mocktail.
We also recommend ordering one of our Buddha Bowls to share between two with some extra sides and starters (such as our new Fish Tacos or our classic Trini Doubles) or another main, like or new Trini Cod, if you want to explore our menu a little more.
